This is connected to the Renaissance because the Renaissance was a time of innovation like Frank Gehry.

According to Frank Gehry, art and architecture are all based on the Humanism. The world right now is lack of idea and full of same concept/style. The world is full of remix, which means that nothing is truly new. We should wonder and start to build curiosity to come out with new, unique idea.

I think that it is a very simple progress to make something bigger and out of this world, as he said, "just start with the block shape."

He talks about how curiosity starting everything. In the Renaissance, curiosity sparks ideas and people started to wonder about everything. I think that's how it is connected.

He talked about expressing movement and in the Renaissance, artists focused on different elements in their art as well. However, the artists focused perspectives, 3D shapes and expressing realistic human bodies or faces.

This connects to the renaissance through the idea of humanity and art. The video plays with the idea of mixing the two and creating something new. He constantly talks about trying to incorporate movement and curiosity in his art and taking a risk. The risk being stepping out of the norm and doing something different, something unique.

Frank's philosophy of innovation and starting with a base is quite heavily connected to the Renaissance. It's connected by how the Renaissance because of how that time period was so innovative and a lot of ideas were blooming at that time, like Architecture.

"Your creativity starts with whether you're curious or not".
Creativity helped Renaissance artists were able to invent incredible inventions, paint and sculpture. They were able to be creative with their ideas because they were very curious and passionate about their topic.

This is connected to the Renaissance because they both have constraints in things.

This video connects to the renaissance throughout the idea of creating the base, and then expanding them. In this video, he claims "create your logic", which means create a foundation that could enhance your ideas.

I think this connects to the Renaissance because his ideas convey a sense of individualism and humanism. We can see this in how he thinks of humanity when he designs the buildings.

I thought it was very interesting because he expressed his own ideas and imaginations to the architectures.

There will always be constraints in every aspect of life. The renaissance was connected, because it helped brilliant people break free from many of the boundaries that the church set in place.

Frank Gehry creates his architecture based on his emotions and the emotion of the purpose of the building. For example, one design had folds because he wanted to create the idea of warmth and love. Renaissance painters also base their artwork by their emotions. For example, you can usually tell how to artist is feeling by basing it off his or her artwork.

One of the ways that this is connected to the Renaissance is that he pointed out that people may disagree with you and decline your ideas, but just keep on going and express your ideas. Da Vinci, for example, was struggling in debt and harsh looks because he never finished his work. Some people never approved his creations. But despite all the backlash, Da Vinci created unique, new figures that will always be remembered in history.

As an artist/architecture, he thought of an idea and had to extend it further more. He really likes movements, and therefore, he used his ideas and turned it into life through his favorite style

The Frank Ghery stated that not everyone will like your art piece. The same thing goes along with Sandro Botticelli's Birth of Venus since the church hated the drawing

Even if your ideas aren't accepted just keep on trying and someday people are going to look up on it. In the renaissance time artist have also experienced this but they didn't give up.

Frank Gehry looked at the problem with a different perspective, and also approached it in a different angle. For example, he put the thought of motion and feelings into his work. Like Michelangelo, Frank "Saw the angle" in the marble before he even started carving.

His creations start off with a simple wood block, then he puts his idea onto the design and goes with the flow. This connects to Leonardo Da Vinci because he started his sculptures with a marble slab.
